Yes, when I do a sculpture I always chainsaw the first rough form of a work...only than I begin to use other tools. Before I make a claymodel (there is also  a pic of the wooden work with it's model) as reference :aww:

lol, well I imagine a dragon, if they existed would be very slinky in it's movements (like a cat)

Nice!  I've done some dragons wrapped  around rocks too (ceramic, and smaller), and I like the way you've integrated them.  (Making believable rocks is hard!)
